TRIBUTE TO LATE WILLIAM J. MILLER
WHEREAS, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom and judgment has called William J. Miller, an outstanding citizen and beloved friend, from this life to eternity at the age of seventy-seven years; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this kind and gentle man, by the Honorable Patrick J. Levar, Alderman of the 45th Ward; and
WHEREAS, William J. Miller, the cherished husband and life partner of the late Mary Ann, nee Cipolla; devoted father of Lynn (Jack) Kinneke and William (Kristi) Miller, Jr.; cherished grandpa of Jaclyn, Evan, Sam, Abby, Lily and Kara; devoted brother of Joan (Robert) Vering and the late Dorothy (the late Charles) Olney, Helen (the late Joseph) Leake and Virginia; adored brother-in-law of Bill (Agatha), the late Robert (the late Stella) and Carl (the late Marylyn); dear uncle to many nieces and nephews; a treasured friend and good neighbor to all. William enriched the lives of the young and the old and will be deeply missed. William was a proud veteran of the Korean War and a dedicated employee for many years at Pioneer Press Newspaper as a plate maker; and
WHEREAS, To his loving children, grandchildren, brother, friends and neighbors, William J. Miller imparts a legacy of love, faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore, '
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this fourth day of May, 2011 A.D., do hereby commemorate William J. Miller for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family and loved ones.
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of William J. Miller.
