RECOGNITION OF ST. THECLA FALCONS

Whereas, The 2013 - 2014 St. Thecla Falcons Boys Basketball Team is made up of Luke Schutt, Kevin Garcia, Max Piccolo, Nicholas Caldwell, Dominick Fidanzia, Nate Anderson, Josh Reider, and Jacob Bronson, and;

Whereas, Paul Schutt and Matt Reider have dedicated their time to coaching the team through the season, and;

Whereas, On January 12, 2014 the St. Thecla Falcons faced the St. Mary of the Woods Blue Knights in the City Suburban Conference Championship, and;

Whereas, the Falcons scored 27 points, defeated the opposing team and were named Champions, and;

Whereas, the Falcon's victory allowed them to close out their season with a perfect 21 wins and 0 loss record,

Be it resolved, that we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this 5^th day of February, 2014, do hereby express our congratulations to the St. Thecla Falcon's Boys Basketball Team on their accomplishment, and;

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to St. Thecla Catholic School.
