RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Joseph W Hammar has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 56 to his eternal reward; and

WHERE AS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Joseph W. Hamrnar, devoted son ofthe late George and the late Juanita; beloved brother ofthe late Morris (Carolyn), George (Theresc), Michael and La Donna; fond uncle of Cindee, Morris, the late Mark, Michaela and Lucas; best buddy of Russell; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Joseph to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth ofSeptember 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Joseph W Hammar and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Joseph W Hammar.
