RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, William S. Woods has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his
eternal reward; and                     —_:

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and .

WHEREAS, Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Kelly); beloved son of E. Pete and Mary Ellen Woods; dear brother Peter (Diane), Edward (Cindi) Woods and the late Janice (Louis) Haussmann; fond uncle and great uncle to many; good friend to J. R. DeFilippis.

WHEREAS, Willian was a proud member of Local #134; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared William to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of William S. Woods and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of William S. Woods.
