SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Section 4-60-022 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021(c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

On the east side of North Clark Stroot, from West Granville Avenue-te West Devon Avenue.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon passage and approval.

Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration a substitute ordinance introduced by Alderman Harry Osterman (which was referred on September 21, 2022):
to amend the Municipal Code of Chicago lifting subsection 4-60-022 (48.9) to allow the issuance of additional alcoholic liquor licenses on portion of Clark Street,
begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the substitute ordinance which is transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by members of the License Committee on October 25, 2022.
