MEMORIAL RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Diane S. Francis was called to her eternal reward on February 20, 2013, at the age of 64; and

WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Diane Francis was an active and vital member of her community. The loving wife of Rod Francis; dear mother of Debra (Umberto) Ingargiola and Sarah Francis; special grandmother of Sophia Ingargiola; fond sister of Nadine (John) Zei and Gary (Rita) Stanton; aunt of many nieces and nephews, Diane leave a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Diane Francis will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

Se It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this thirteenth day of March 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Diane Francis and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
