RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Robert E. Blaida has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Robert E. Blaida; Beloved husband of the late Genevieve "Jean" nee Klima; loving father of Mary Ann (Emil) Hageline, the late Daniel M., late Therese R. (late William) Bandemier and the late Sandra A. Blaida; cherished grandfather of Ryan R. (Delaney), Jessica L. (late Mario), Mandi L., Emil E. (Gabrielle), Shaun P., Benjamin G. and Maxwell V.; adored great-grandfather of Mya J., MaKayla J., Miley, Jayce, Chanden R., Jett, River and Riley; dear brother of Thomas and late Lucille; fond uncle of many; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Robert E. Blaida to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Robert E. Blaida and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert E. Blaida.
