TRIBUTE TO CAROL KELLOGG

WHEREAS, In His Infinite Wisdom, Almighty God has granted Carol Kellogg, a loving mother of seven children, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and friend to all, eternal rest; and

WHEREAS, Carol Kellogg was a resident of suburban Harvey since 1940. She raised seven successful children in the City of Harvey, including Harvey Mayor Eric Kellogg; and

WHEREAS, Carol Kellogg was a professional chef, a lover of words, poems, and sports and was loved by all who knew her; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert W. Fioretti, Alderman ofthe 2^nd Ward, has informed this august body of the passing of Carol Kellogg; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this 26th Day of June, 2013 AD, do hereby express our sincerest sorrow upon learning of the passing of Carol Kellogg and extend our deepest sympathy to her family and all those whose lives she touched in such a remarkable way.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Carol Kellogg.
