ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 through 4 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-022 (44.1) through 4-60-022 (44.5), as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions On Additional Licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

On Clark Street, from Fletcher Street to Buckingham Place.
On Belmont Avenue, from Clark Street to Sheffield Avenue.
On Belmont Avenue, from Sheffield Avenue to Seminary Avenue.
On Belmont Avenue, from Seminary Avenue to Racine Avenue.
On Sheffield Avenue, from Barry Avenue to School Street.

SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-023 (44.1) through 4-60-023 (44.5), as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:
