WHj^EAS, Ann M. Roti has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Ann M. Roti (nee Gurgone) Beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving daughter of the late Michael and Frances (nee Vitale) Gurgone; dear sister of the late James, Sam Gurgone, Margaret Tortorello, Mary Weeks, and Josephine Tarantino; beloved aunt of Anthony "Barrels" (the late Rosalie) Tarantino, and Frances Ann (the late James) Pecora; great aunt and great great aunt of many; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to. the fullest endeared Ann M. Roti to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Ann M. Roti and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann M. Roti.
