MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Donald Mulligan, born on March 8, 1936, was called by God to his eternal reward on September 26, 2012, at the age of 76; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Donald Mulligan was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband of the late Josephine, nee Wadman; loving brother of the late John, Mary L. (Clifford) Kennedy and James; dear uncle of many, Donald Mulligan leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Donald Mulligan will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twelfth day of December 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Donald Mulligan and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald Mulligan.
