City Council December 15th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, John M "Bo" Bennecke has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at trie age of 87 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, John M. "Bo" Bennecke, beloved companion ofthe late Diane O'Malley; loving brother of Deborah (Ronald) Okon, Thomas (Lora) Bennecke, Bob (Jerri Weisner), Sandy (Stephen) Brazel, and Trish Glascoff; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents John W. and Virginia Bennecke nee Dominguez. John was an avid Chicago White Sox and Bears fan. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be deeply missed; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared John to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of John M "Bo" Bennecke and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
