MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR MARGARET B. TADEL
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Margaret B. Tadel on December 13, 2017 at the age of 80; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39lh Ward; and
WHEREAS, born on May 02, 1937, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer & Nell (nee Mikosz) Tadel; lifelong companion of the late John Cisko; fond cousin and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her; and
WHEREAS, Margaret touched the lives of all who knew her through her kindness, compassion and vivacious spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this seventeenth day of January, 2018, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Margaret B. Tadel; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the family of Margaret B. Tadel as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
