RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Melissa Ann Tackett has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 30 to her eternal reward; and ;■ -'■
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Melissa Ann Tackett, cherished mother of Jaelynn Majewski and Joumie " ■■ >. Majewski; father of her children, Kevin Majewski; beloved daughter of the late Roy and Jerri Lynn Kara Tackett;; loving sister of Hayley Tackett (David), Robert Russell, III (Keisha), James Russell, Wijiiam Russell, and Mary Russell; devoted granddaughter of Doris and Gunthrie Gipson, Mary Posko and Rich Poskb; loving aunt of Kaleb Mcumber, Isaac Mcumber, late Ethan Russell, andLinnea Russell; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Adopted at age 18 by The Majewski Family; beloved adopted daughter of Robert and Theresa Majewski; loving adopted sister of Michael (Sara) Jackson, Nathan Majewski, and Robert Kevin Majewski; aunt of Lyilec Jackson, Alaina Kevin Majewski; and
WHEREAS, longtime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Melissa to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will .never forget; now, therefore >
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of April 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Melissa Ann Tackett and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
