RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Steven G. Zalesny to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Steven G. Zalesny, Papa Z, Age 64, Veteran of the Vietnam War, US Army. Beloved husband of Julie (nee Porambo). Devoted father of Allison. Dear brother of Patricia (late Vito) Caporusso, Ronald (Angie) and the late Robert. Fond uncle and great uncle and a wonderful friend to all. Retired with 40 years of service from Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was a Brookfield Zoo Volunteer, Member of BBPA and an usher at St Daniel the Prophet Church. Steven G. Zalesny leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of June, 2016, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Steven G. Zalesny and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Steven G. Zalesny. /"S
