DECLARATION OFDECEMEBER 3. 2016 AS

"TRUE FAMILY VALUES APPRECIATION DAY¹

Whereas our great City of Chicago and our great nation have from their beginnings promoted the cause of true family values for all peoples; and

WHEREAS the Pilgrim Fathers and Mothers came to America in search of freedom of religion; and

WHEREAS these same Pilgrims built their churches and schools before even building their own homes; and

WHEREAS the sanctity of the American family has always been at the center of our democratic culture; and

WHEREAS the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, which was founded by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, is holding its twenty first annual True Family Values Banquet in conjunction with the Universal Peace Federation-USA, to be held at the Crown Plaza O'Hare Hotel on Saturday, December 3^rd at twelve o'clock noon; and

WHEREAS awards will be handed out and a number of righteous and sacrificial people will be honored for their work to raise up communities:

BE IT RESOLVED, That Alderman Joe Moore ofthe 49^th Ward ofthe City of Chicago does hereby proclaim December 3, 2016 as "True Family Values Appreciation Day" in Chicago; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to The True Family Values Ministry.
