MEMORIAL RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF
TINA LAPASH
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members ofthis Chamber learned ofthe passing of Tina M. LaPash, on May 8, 2022 at the age of fifty-four; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of Tina's passing by the Honorable Samantha Nugent, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born in 1968; Tina was the beloved wife of Anthony LaPash; loving mother of Anthony Jr. "Tony" and Vincent "Vinny"; daughter to the late Walter A. and Irene Gould; loving sister to Darlene (Kenneth) Mroz, Walter Gould, and Mary Gould; and proud aunt to Amanda (Brian), Kenny (Lana), Lauren, Kaila, Matthew, Nick, Kylie, and Joey; and loving great aunt of Mila, MacKenzie, Emma, and Kathryn; and
WHEREAS, Tina was a dedicated and loyal employee to the City of Chicago as an assistant to the City Council Division during the late 1980s and early 1990s; and as a Senior Data Entry operator for the Department of Finance; and;
WHEREAS, Tina will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; with a vivacious and fighting spirit with all the triumphs, joys, and tribulations throughout her life; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and member ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-second day of June, 2022, do hereby extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Tina LaPash; and
