RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri has gone to his eternal reward at the age of thirty-three; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri was a dedicated public servant and the loving husband of Erin, nee Kirwin; and
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri was the beloved son of Daniel and Candace, nee Alberts, and the cherished brother of Danny and Johnny; and
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri ably served as a Deputy of the Cook County Sheriffs Department for six years; and
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri was an avid sports fan and loved by everyone who knew him; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Frankie Balestri serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Frankie Balestri to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, Frankie Balestri will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and admirers; and
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, Frankie Balestri imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty-eighth day of July, 2011, do hereby commemorate Frankie Balestri for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frankie Balestri.
