W91EMU1S, it is with sincere condolences that we reminisce the life and legacy of Mother Lovis Scott and 16th Ward Alderman Stephanie D. Coleman will inform Chicago City Council of her passing at the July 20, 2022 meeting of City Council; and
WSiEMEUS, Mother Scott, affectionately known as "Candy", has been a resident of the Englewood community for over 50 years, spending hours in her garden to add beauty to her home and community; and,
W31E31&CLS, Mother Scott will always be remembered for her love of singing and dancing with her family, attending church and being an example of GOD's unconditional support to everyone she encountered; and
W9t£3l£XIS, Alderman Stephanie D. Coleman and the entire City Council extend our sincere condolences to her daughters, Deborah and Pandora, son-in-laws Cordell and Calvin, Sr., her sisters, grandchildren, great children and the entire family; and
WMSSIC&S, to the family and friends of Mother Scott, we wish you peace, comfort and encouragement when facing the days ahead. Cherish the love and memories that Mother Scott has shared with us all, and be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you;
