WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Charles H. "Chuck" Green to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHERESAS, Charles Green, passed at age 86. Retired Sergeant CPD for 42 years. Beloved husband of Margaret M. Green (nee Carson). Loving father of Kevin (Adele) Green, John F. Green and Margaret "Peg" (James) Srebalus. Dear grandfather of Katie (Anthony, CPD) Cuchetto and Michael Flores, Las Vegas PD. Great-grandfather of Mia. Fond brother of Richard (Charlene) Green, Thomas Green, the late Patrick (late Patricia) Green and William (Dorothy) Green. Longtime member of St. Jane de Chantal Church & HNS, Police Chaplain's Ministry, St. Jude League, F.O.P., Chicago Police Sergeants' Association, Emerald Society and Coyotes Baseball Team; and
WHERAS, Charles Green leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twentieth day of July 2022, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Charles Green and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
