BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


Section 1:


The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for RED TOP PARKING, INC. on 05/04/2011, and printed upon page 117844 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by adding the words


'"Authority herein given and granted for a period of one (1) year from and after April 1,2016.

The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege # 1096072 herein granted the sum of twenty-five thousand (25,000.00) per annum in advance for the annual period April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017."


Section 2:

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for occupation of space(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
