Resolution celebrating Mary Hagopian's 100 Birthday

WHEREAS: Mary DeRubeis (Hagopian) was born on October 24, 1917 in Sora, Italy.

WHEREAS: Mary arrived in the United States in 1929.

WHEREAS: Mary attended Steinmetz High School in Chicago.

WHEREAS: Mary was employed at Zenith Radio on the Northwest Side of Chicago.

WHEREAS: Mary was happily married for 52 years to Charles J. Hagopian.

WHEREAS: Mary Hagopian is the proud mother of Dr. John Hagopian and Mr. Charles Hagopian Jr. and the proud Grandmother of Alexandra and Zachary Hagopian.

BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, gathered together this eleventh day of October, 2017, do hereby congratulate Mary Hagopian on her 100^th Birthday and extend our very best wishes for many more birthdays to come.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Mary Hagopian as a token of our esteem and good wishes.
