WHEREAS, December 18, 2015 marks the 150th Anniversary of the Ratifying of the 13th Amendment that abolished 246 years, from 1619 to 1865, of Chattel (moveable property) Slavery, except when duly convicted of a crime by a jury of your peers, was designated Divinity Day in Chicago on October 2, 1995, sponsored by Alderman Robert Shaw and drafted by EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN; and
WHEREAS, EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN is an activist, author, Certified Montessori Preschool Educator, International Award Winning Poet, Ordained Minister, Spiritual Spokesperson for YHWH Nation of Obedience SpiriLution Ministry chartered in 1990, Founding President of Global Committee Commemorating King Days charted in 1984, grew up in Englewood where her heart lives, is the Creator of Emmett Till Road (71st Street) and Helen Richard Drive (74th Street), her Freedom Fighting work started at the age of five, when she refused to give up her seat on the front of the bus in 1950, 5 years before Rosa Parks; and
WHEREAS, March 25, 2015 the United Nations unveiled a Memorial called the Ark of Return at their headquarters in Manhattan, New York on the annual International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, called the "Greatest Holocaust in the History of Humankind," was voted a Crime Against Humanity on September 8, 2001, their theme this year is Women and Slavery which kicked off the Decade for People of African Descent and cited racism and the police killing of Black Men and Boys as a Human Rights Violation; and
WHEREAS, Mamadee's Love Approach to Learning Anti Violence Initiative includes the teaching of Civic History using 3 designated textbooks: the Bible, 12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northrup and the 1967 Kerner Report, commissioned by President Lyndon B. Johnson, called for a National Resolve to end institutionalized racism; and
