MEMORIAL RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Penny A. Schuster, at the age of sixty-two; and

WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Penny, of the Mayfair neighborhood, was an employee of Beltone Electronics for over thirty years and was an active and vital member of her community. The beloved daughter of the late Patricia and Arthur Schuster, Sr.; dear step-daughter of Tana Schuster; loving sister of John J. Schuster and the late Steven and Arthur Schuster, Jr., Penny leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Penny will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this sixteenth day of October 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Penny A. Schuster and express to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Penny A. Schuster as a token of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
