Title: Tribute to late Reginald Parham Sr.

A Resolution Honoring the Life of Reginald Parham Sr.
WHEREAS, Reginald "Reggie" Parham Sr. was born January 30, 1950 and called home on March 15 , 2014; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parham leaves behind a loving mother, wife, two sons, two daughters, six brothers, nine grandchildren, and countless friends; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parham spent most of his life in the Bronzeville community of Chicago having attended South Park Baptist Church and Wendell Phillips High School; and
 
WHEREAS, While at South Park Baptist Church, Mr. Parham served as the Chief of Operations; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parham's devotion to serving others was demonstrated over the 20 year span that he was the Executive Director for Pioneer Village and Pioneer Gardens; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parham's commitment could be seen with the compassionate way in which he interacted with the senior residents who lived,at Pioneer Gardens and Village; and
WHEREAS, The work Mr. Parham did throughout his life has made a positive difference for many other people, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Parham leaves behind an inspiring legacy of service that serves as a positive model for others to follow; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we the Mayor and the Council of the City of Chicago gathered on this 30th day of April 2014, do hereby express our condolences to the friends and family of Reginald Parham Sr. acknowledge the important contributions he has made to his community and the City of Chicago; and
