ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Within 30 days of the effective date of this ordinance, the Commissioner of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (the "Commissioner"), in consultation with the Local Liquor Control Commissioner, the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and the Chicago Department of Transportation, shall take all necessary actions to modify or otherwise update the Expanded Outdoor Dining Program to permit BYOB, as defined by Section 4-58-010 of the Municipal Code, on private property for which an Extended Outdoor Dining permit has been issued, subject to any conditions or approvals the Commissioner or the Local Liquor Control Commissioner may reasonably require.
