Aldemanic Acknowledgement Honoring Lois Parker On Her Retirement

WHEREAS, Lois Parker, will retire after twenty-five years of outstanding service to the United States Government; and

WHEREAS, Lois Parker began her career with the Social Security Administration in 1987, and excelled in her role; and

WHEREAS, Lois exhibited professionalism and commitment to the Social Security Administration, and has served with diligence and perseverance which is highly commendable, I am proud to have the opportunity to recognize her as a proud 16^th Ward Community resident; and

WHEREAS, throughout her many years of service, Lois has with fairness and dedication; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor, Lori Lightfoot and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this twenty first day of September, 2022, do hereby congratulate Lois Parker on her retirement, and wish her continued happiness and success; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy ofthis resolution be prepared and presented to Lois Parker as a token of our esteem, honor, and respect.
