RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Richard Siepka to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Marty Quinn; and
WHEREAS, World War II Army Air Force Veteran; beloved husband of Lorraine of 60 years; loving father of Anne Marie (John) Landgraf, Richard Jr. (Karen), and Joseph (Barbara); cherished grandfather of Dennis, Cicely, Jennifer, Robert, Timothy, Michael, Julie, Douglas, Joseph (finance Sarah), and James; proud great-grandfather of Sophia, Luca, Paul and Bailey. Richard Siepka had been a dedicated employee of the Prudential Insurance Company for 37 years. He was very involved with the St. Symphorosa Parish, serving as head usher of the 9:30 Sunday mass, Holy Name Society, Resurrection Choir, and Super Club arranging for all the trips and outings among other activities.
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this sixth day of July, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard Siepka, and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Richard Siepka.
