RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Don Durkovic to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Frank J. Olivo; and
WHEREAS, The beloved husband and best friend of Debbie, loving father of Donn, beloved son of the late Violet, proud son-in-law of Charlotte and the late Edward, dear brother of Dolores (Bob), Donna and Darlene, loving brother-in-law of Mike (Maggie), Jim (Mary), Jack (Ginny), Laurie (Mark), Mary (Bill), Shari (Mike), Eddie (Michael), Jim (Karen), Paul and the late Carole, fond nephew of Joan (Bob), loving godfather, cousin, uncle and friend of many. President of The Nomad Ski Club of Chicago, Don Durkovic leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this thirteenth day of April, 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Don Durkovic and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Don Durkovic.
