TO THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL:
Your Committee on Special Events and Cultural Affairs having had under consideration to Issue all necessary permits, all on-site inspection fees, all plan review fees, Street Closure fees, Food Vendor Fees and Itinerant Merchant License fees free of charge, notwithstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary, to the American Heart Association for its annual Start Heart Walk in Grant Park, at Lower Hutchinson Field on Friday, September 23, 2011. (2) Second-Ward
The Committee beg leave to recommend that your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed event which was submitted on February 8, 2011 at the Committee on Special Events and Cultural Affairs meeting.
This recommendation was concurred by all members of the Committee present, with no dissenting vote.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. That the Director of the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, the Commissioner of Transportation, the Commissioner of Streets and Sanitation, the Director of the Mayor's Office of Special Events, the Commissioner of Buildings, the Commissioner of the Department of Environment and the Director of Revenue, are hereby directed to issue all necessary permits, all on-site inspection fees, all plan review fees, street closure fees, food vendor fees and itinerant merchant license fees free of charge, notwithstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary, to the American Heart Association for its annual Start Heart Walk in Grant Park, Lower Hutchinson Field on Friday, September 23, 2011.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication.
