RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Ofelia Rodriguez to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Ofelia Rodriguez, 68, passed away February 5, 2017. Loving wife of Carlos; beloved mother of Juan Carlos, Mike (Gracie) Teresa, Alex, Gloria, Anita Ofelia; cherished grandmother of Michael; dear sister of Maria, Paulino, Arnulfo, and Silvia. Ofelia Rodriguez leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of February, 2017, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Ofelia Rodriguez and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Ofelia Rodriguez.
