MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, It was with great sadness that members of this chamber learned of the March 24, 2013 death of George Weber at the age of 94; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, George Weber was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband ofthe late Annette, nee Kennedy; loving father of Maureen (Richard) Newman; dearest grandfather of Jeremy (Beth), Ryan and Liz Newman; loving great-grandfather of Burton Newman; dear brother of Agnes French, Lucille (Don) Carlson and Carl Weber; fond uncle of Dan Rogers; great-uncle of Christopher and Jennifer Rogers, George leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, George will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this eighth day of May 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of George Frederick Weber and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
