Resolution

WHEREAS, Anthony "Tony" Watrobinski is well known for his community volunteerism and for his induction into the Chicago Senior Citizen Hall of Fame; and

WHEREAS, Tony Watrobinski has been actively involved in the 17^th District CAPS Program since 1994 and has served as Chairman of the 17^th District Senior Committee since 2005; and

WHEREAS, As Chairman of the 17^th District Senior Committee, Tony strives to bring interesting speakers to their monthly meetings who share important information that affects the lives of seniors. As a result, Tony leads one of the best attended and most lively Senior CAPS meetings in the city of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, A mainstay in the neighborhood and a pal to all, Tony Watrobinski's work, passion, and generous spirit is legendary. The epitome of community involvement, Tony's work has been recognized by a variety of public officials, community organizations, and agencies, far too numerous to mention; now, therefore

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twelfth day of December, 2018, do hereby extend our sincere appreciation to Tony Watrobinski for his work as Chairman of the 17^th District Senior Committee and wish him every success in all of his future endeavors; and
