CONGRATULATIONS TO QUEEN OF ALL SAINTS 5™ GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM ON WINNING THE LOYOLA TOURNAMENT AND NORTHWEST CATHOLIC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
WHEREAS, Queen of All Saints 5th Grade Girls Basketball Team has shown extraordinary teamwork and basketball skill in winning both the Loyola Tournament and Northwest Catholic Conference Championships; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of these remarkable triumphs by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The Team excelled this season by going undefeated in regular play 24-0, followed by winning the Loyola Tournament Championship on November 4th and the Northwest Catholic Championship on November 6th' 2018; and
WHEREAS, Congratulations goes out to each of these outstanding athletes and their coaches, whose hard work, dedication, and team spirit have been realized in these remarkable successes; and
WHEREAS, The members of this winning team include: Alice O'Hearn,
Ameile Vizconde, Ava Vlasic, Bridget Coffman, Bridget Smith, Emilie San Roman,
Emily Vasilj, Grace Ingles, Margaret Jirgal, MaryCait Mackie, Michaela Burm,
Natalia Cerrado, Nora Colgan, Olivia Fraterrigo, and Sophia Perrone. This talented team
was guided by their coaches: Steve San Roman, Maureen Mula, Jeff Fraterrigo,
and Dan Colgan; and,
WHEREAS, The Queen of All Saints 5th grade Girls Basketball Team has shown the victory that's possible when a team demonstrates both exceptional skill, teamwork and sportsmanship; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the Members ofthe Chicago City Council, assembled this twelfth day of December, 2018, do hereby express our most enthusiastic congratulations to the 5th Grade Girls Basketball Team, their caring Coaches, and the entire Queen of All Saints Elementary School and wish them well in all their future endeavors; and
