ORDERED, That the Director of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to issue the following licenses and permits, free of charge to the Department of Environment, for the special event "World Fair Trade Day" scheduled to take place on Friday, May 6, 2011 between the hours of 12:00p.m. and 10:00p.m. at Daley Plaza.
Tent and Canopy Permits, Itinerant Merchant License Fees and Temporary Food Vendor Licenses Fees, Special Event Permit, Street Closure Permit, and all other permits and fees related to this event

The Department, of Environment is sponsoring an event in Daley Plaza on May 6, 2011 to recognize World Fair Trade Day and how fair trade protects the environment. To celebrate this event, there will be a noon-time program with a drumming circle and special guest speakers will highlight our global connections to fair trade producers of coffee, teas, sugar, chocolate and artisan products from all over the world.
Because this event is recognizing such a good cause. I am respectfully requesting a waiver of fees for these booths. :,
