BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


Section 1:


The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for METROPOLITAN PIER & EXPOSITION AUTHORITY on 07/25/2012,
and printed upon page 31488 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words

"Said Column(s) at S. MLK Dr. measure(s): Two (2) at four (4) feet in length, and three (3) in width for a total of twenty-four (24) square feet"

and inserting in their place the words


"Said Columns at MLK Drive measures:
Two (2) at six (6) feet in diameter and eleven (11) feet eight (8) inches in height"



Section 2:

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for column(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council.
