MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Sister Mary Claudiane Pruszka, C.S.S.F., born on March 1, 1925, was called by God to her eternal reward on December 8, 2012, at the age of 87; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Veronica; beloved sister of Dolores (the late George) Black, Sylvia (the late Norbert) Jeske, the late Harry (Mildred), the late Gertrude (the late Raymond) Kulinski, and the late Raymond (Deloris); and treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews, Sister Mary Claudiane leaves a legacy of deep faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, An active and vital member of her religious community, Sister Mary Claudiane was a beloved member ofthe Felician Sisters for sixty-nine years; and
WHEREAS, Sister Mary Claudiane will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this seventeenth day of January 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Sister Mary Claudiane Pruszka and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sister Mary Claudiane Pruszka.
