RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Charles "Cookie" Volanti to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed off his passing by Alderman Frank J. Olivo; and
WHEREAS, The beloved husband of Connie, dear father of Charles (Gloria), Daniel (Chris) and Cynthia (Peter), cherished grandfather of 11 and greatgrandfather of nine, loving son ofthe late Concetta, fond brother of Michael, and the late Daniel, the late Marie, and the late Jackie, uncle of numerous nieces and nephews, Charles "Cookie" Volanti leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this thirteenth day of April, 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Charles "Cookie" Volanti and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Charles "Cookie" Volanti.
