Title: WHEREAS, Pamela Ann Baker, has been called to her eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 71; and, WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by Alderman Thomas M. Tunney; and, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Pamela was born on July 18,1941, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to her loving parents Donald and Gertrude, joining sisters Patricia and Debbie; and; WHEREAS, Pam married the love of her life, Ronald, in 1963 and soon became devoted mother to Stephanie and Mark; and, WHEREAS, Pamela enjoyed a versatile professional career, holding positions in teaching, management and as a Certified Public Accountant; and, WHEREAS, a avid traveler, Pam looked forward to month long recreation vehicle trips, with Canyonlands National Park in Utah as her favorite hiking destination; and, WHEREAS, not one to rest on her laurels, Pam also enjoyed yoga, long walks along beautiful Lake Michigan and spending time with her many friends; and, WHEREAS, as a loving grandmother, Pam love...

Sarah, Michael, Matthew, Claire, Emily and Daniel, cheering them on at sporting events, at
their plays and recitals; and,
 
WHEREAS, Pam's love of life and his ability to live it to the fullest endeared Pam to her
family, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will
never forget; and,
 
BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of
Chicago, assembled this 12th Day of September 2012, do hereby honor the life and memory
of Pamela Ann Baker and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family; and,
 
Be It Further Resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of
Pamela Ann Baker. _ /
