RESOLUTION

 

 

 

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Jason Wallace to his eternal reward; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Jason Michael Wallace, 41, died on Monday, September 19, 2016, at his father's home in Matteson, Illinois. Jason was born on January 29, 1975, in Chicago, IL to Ronald and Elaine Wallace. Jason graduated St. Rita High School in 1993. He went on to study social studies at St Xavier University where he also played baseball. Jason then spent 10 yrs at Simeon High school as a social studies teacher. Jason is preceded in death by his mother Elaine Wallace. He is survived by his wife Kathryn (Fett) Wallace; father Ronald Wallace, sister Lynn Wallace, brother Daryl Wallace and wife Maureen, and nieces and nephew: Madelyn, Luke, Molly, and Melanie. Jason Wallace leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this fifth day of October, 2016, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Jason Wallace and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
