RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Honorable T. Jordan. Gallagher has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of sixty-three; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Sycamore, the Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher was a widely admired member of the judicial community and the loving husband of the late Debbie; and
WHEREAS, Raised in DeKalb County, the Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher ably served since 2008 as an Associate Judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit which includes Kane, DeKalb and Kendall counties; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher previously served two terms as DeKalb County State's Attorney and as an Assistant Attorney General for more than twenty years; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of the Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared the Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher was an individual of great integrity and accomplishment who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and admirers; and
WHEREAS, To his two daughters, Sarah and Josephine, his two stepsons, Travis and Jacob, his brother, Dick, his sisters, Patricia and Jane, and his two adoring grandchildren, the Honorable T. Jordan Gallagher imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
