SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1. Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing all of the DS-3, Downtown Service District symbols shown on Map 2-G in the area generally bounded by:

West Van Buren Street; a line. 556.65 feet west of and parallel to South Morgan Street; Tilden Street; and a line 858.12 feet west of and parallel to South Morgan Street

to the designation of DX-7, Downtown Mixed-Use District.
SECTION 2. Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing all of the DX-7, Downtown Mixed-Use District symbols shown on Map 2-G in the. area described in Section, 1 above, to those of a Residential Planned Development, subject to the use and bulk regulations set forth in the Plan of Development attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance takes effect after its passage and approval and due publication.
