RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Maria Luisa Rosado to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Maria Luisa Rosado, nee Tubens, Age 85, passed away on December 15, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Former spouse ofthe late Isidro Rosado. Loving mother of Elsie (Anant) Singh, Heidi Rosado (partner Allan), Iraida (Jose) Raymundo, Nereida (Jose) Sanjurjo, Isidro (Mary Kay) Rosado Jr., Maria M. Rosado, Oracio Tubens Rosado, Juanita (Gustavo) Reyes, Agustin (Rosa) Rosado, Antonio (Barbara) Rosado, Luis Rosado, Luisa (Hugh) Rico, Adela (Angel) Diosdado, Adelaida (Hector) Escalera and Alejandro Rosado. Dear grandmother of 26 and great-grandmother of 5. Cherished daughter ofthe late Andrea (nee Estevez) and the late Cesareo Tubens. Fond sister of Angelina (the late Aedo), Iris, Regina (the late Chu-Noel), Doris (Ernesto) and Meri (Raul). Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and
WHEREAS; Maria Luisa Rosado leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty seventh day of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death Maria Luisa Rosado and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Maria Luisa Rosado.
