FAILURE TO PAY THE CURRENT AMOUNT DUE WITHIN 30 DAYS WILL RESULT IN A PENALTY OF $5.00 FOR EACH UNPAID INSPECTION FEE FOR EACH 30 DAY PERIOD THE INSPECTION FEE REMAINS UNPAID.
NOTIFICATION OF LICENSE SUSPENSION
The issuance or renewal of any license the City grants - including business and chauffeur's licenses - is now on hold. This hold prevents you from obtaining or renewing a City license until your debt to the City is paid in full. Failure to obtain or renew a necessary license may result in the Department of Revenue closing your business.
You may make your payment in any of the following ways:
• Pay in-person at any one of the Department of Revenue payment facilities
• Send a check or money order, payable to the order of City of Chicago, to the Department of Revenue with the payment coupon below
