SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the area described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance is adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholicliquorwithin and nearthearea.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underlined, as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

(26.1) On the south side of West Armitage Avenue, from St. Louis Avenue to Central Park Avenue.

SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underlined, as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon passage and publication.
