BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Section 2 ofthis ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-023 (49.71) and (49.72), as follows:

4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.

Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

On the east side of North Sheridan Road, from Albion Avenue to West Sheridan Road/Devon Avenue.
On the west side of Sheridan Road from Albion Avenue, to Loyola Avenue, thence on the northeast side of that portion of Loyola Avenue that proceeds diagonally from its intersection with Sheridan Road, thence on the northside of Loyola Avenue to Lakewood Avenue.
