c" .WHEREAS, On April 2, 2017, Police Officer Darren L. Irons retired from the Chicago Police Department fojlowing thirty years of dedicated public service; and

WHEREAS, Police Officer Darren L. Irons, Star #08165, retires as a valued member of the 2nd District; and .*'

on the officers who must daily cope with the stress and danger of being life's arbitrator for
countless citizens, but also on their family members; and . , ' WHEREAS, Throughout a long and distinguished tenure, Officer Darren L. Irons upheld :
