RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Victor Ordonez to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Victor Ordonez, Beloved son of the late Victor and the late Margaret Ordonez; loving brother of the late Donald, Joe (Cheryl), Brent, the late Joan, and Barbara; dear uncle of Kim Kozak and Tim Kozak. Known as the "Mayor of 63rd Street", he will be greatly missed by all of his friends at Autumn Green and St. Mary Star of the Sea Church where he was a very active and faithful parishioner. Victor Ordonez leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this ninth day of November, 2016, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Victor Ordonez and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Victor Ordonez.
