RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl have gone to their eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of their passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl were happily married for 43 years and were the loving parents of Cindy, Vicki, Shaun and William; and
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl were the proud grandparents of eleven; and
WHEREAS, Richard Biehl was a retired ambulance Commander for the Chicago Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl were tragically killed in a four-car rollover crash in the Deering neighborhood on the Far South Side; and
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl were people of great goodness who held the love of family above all else; and
WHEREAS, Richard and Susan Biehl were faithful members of St. Thomas More Church in Chicago; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Richard and Susan Biehl serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, Residents of the Wrightwood neighborhood, Richard and Susan Biehl will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by their many relatives, friends and neighbors; and
WHEREAS, To their beloved family, Richard and Susan Biehl impart a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twentieth day of September, 2018, do hereby commemorate Richard and Susan Biehl for their grace-filled lives and do hereby express our condolences to their family; and
