Resolution

WHEREAS, Kathleen (nee Kenny) Clancy, passed away on November 12, 2012; and

WHEREAS, The City of Chicago City Council has been notified of her passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Clancy was born Dec. 2,1906 in Westport Co. Mayo, Ireland/Beloved wife of the late William P. Clancy, Co. Sligo, Ireland. Loving mother of Charles (Jan), William (Mary Ann), Mary (Robert) Jurewicz, Patrick (Donna), Kathleen (the late Conrad) Kamer and Gerard Ret. Sgt. C.P.D. and the late Joseph USMC Vietnam; Grandmother of 23; great-grandmother of 31; Fond sister-in-law of Sadie Kelly of Co. Galway. Preceded in death by 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

WHEREAS, A great friend to many, Kathleen Clancy's memory will be deeply cherished and her long life i will be celebrated; therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, The Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of December 12^th, 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death Kathleen Clancy and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Clancy
